Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer, is best known for Birdman. Michael Keaton plays an actor with a wide range of capabilities. As an actor, the actor has performed a range of romantic roles and performed in action movies. He developed an interest in acting and performing while he was in his teens and attempted stand-up comics as a young man. Although his comedy career failed however, it served as the basis to his acting career. Unable to find success as a comedian he took on a position as an assistant cameraman at a cable channel. While working at the cable station, the cameraman realized his desire was to work front of a camera. He was then offered a television role, appearing on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor and was soon a cult star on the television. His comedic characters brought the actor fame and an impressive film career. His fame was further elevated when he portrayed Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In time, he developed as an actor and also moved into direction and production. He has received numerous awards as well as nominations for his work in the 2014 film Birdman.
